  • Yes, there is a definition of "intermediate range"--it means that the weapon was close enough to the person that there are "peppering" marks on the skin.

  • Britt--Zimmerman was in the police station several hours later. I think it was three-four hours later. So, yes, by then one should be able to see the beginnings of a black eye, and a person with a broken nose should not have been walking with quite that much balance.

  • People--please stop making claims that are patently false. Listen to the recording that you claim says Zimmerman had backed off and was going back to his vehicle. It says no such thing.

  • AnIndividual--perhaps you live somewhere in which most TSA agents are people of color; I do not. In any case, the TSA doesn't usually hire the people who work for them; they contract this function out--the screeners aren't necessarily TSA agents.

  • Young people are not allowed to drink alcohol (unless their parents agree and supervise--and even then, only in some states). Young people are not allowed to buy cigarettes where I live (this varies, depending on the state). Young people under 18 cannot join the military without parental consent.

  • It wouldn't matter if Travolta were an everyday run-of-the-mill guy--but he is a Scientologist and rabidly anti-gay. So, yeah, it would kind of matter to those who don't care for hypocrites.

  • Travolta has been said to be doing these things for absolutely years. That the cruise ship "didn't believe" the crew member and subsequently fired him has more to do with the fact that Travolta's little escapades have been covered up than that they did not happen.

  • AG99--had this to say. Healthy food is not expensive. Organic, pre-packaged, designer food is, but the produce aisles and freezer sections are full of cheap veggies and fruits, and even frozen meats. You just have to prepare them.
